Incomplete/hidden/concealed/encrypted customer name and address

If you see TikTok Shop orders containing concealed customer name and address, it is likely due to the incorrect shipping configuration in your TikTok Shop seller center.

When TikTok's default shipping option: TikTok Shipping is in use, customer details such as their name and address, are concealed from the seller for privacy purpose.

As a seller, you won't be able to access the full customer information. Thus, you won't be able to fulfill these orders via your DTC eCommerce store. Your customer information (name and address) will only be revealed in the shipping label printed from TikTok Shop Seller Center.


Resolution

To resolve this issue, you just need to change the default shipping option to "Seller Shipping." Go to your TikTok Shop seller center, Go to Orders > Fulfillment settings > Shipping and delivery (https://seller-us.tiktok.com/order/shipping-delivery-settings), and select Seller Shipping.
