Create your TikTok Shop Seller Center account

If you haven't created a TikTok Shop Seller Center yet, please go to https://seller-us.tiktok.com/ to create your account.

TikTok, TikTok Business Center, and TikTok Shop Seller Center are three different platforms. You need a TikTok Shop Seller Center to continue.

Choose the appropriate business entity of your business and upload required information. You may be asked to verify the identity of your primary business representative.

You properly set up your TikTok Shop, you will also need to upload your tax document and connect bank accounts.

  • Upload Business Information:

  • Connect Bank Accounts:

    • Ensure your bank accounts are linked to collect payments from your sales.(https://seller-us.tiktok.com/profile/account-setting/payment)

    • Because TikTok Shop is a marketplace facilitator, all payments for sales generated on TikTok Shop are collected by TikTok Shop. TikTok Shop will issue payouts to the merchants via the TikTok Shop seller center. You cannot collect payments through Shopify or any other payment gateways.

Now your TikTok Shop seller center is ready to go! Next, learn how to integrate TikTok Shop into your eCommerce store with ShoppeDance VeriSync, and start selling.

Configure your TikTok Shop Seller Center to allow seller shipping via your DTC eCommerce platforms

By default, TikTok Shop allows you to fulfill orders through their platform by purchasing and printing labels directly from TikTok Shop. To integrate TikTok Shop into your existing order fulfillment flow via Shopify, Amazon, Wix, or Squarespace, there are a few settings you need to complete:

  • Complete warehouse and fulfillment locations

  • Set up seller shipping templates and set flat-rate shipping options

  • Change TikTok Shipping to Seller Shipping

1. Set up warehouse locations in TikTok Shop Seller Center (required for publishing products on TikTok Shop)

To configure your warehouse in TikTok Shop, navigate to your Profile image > My Account > Account Settings > Warehouse Settings. Or use the link below:

Follow the instructions to set up at least one pickup warehouse and one return warehouse. These warehouses can be the same facility.

When using ShoppeDance VeriSync, you only need to set up one default pickup warehouse in the TikTok Shop Seller Center, even if you have multiple warehouses in your DTC eCommerce platform. ShoppeDance VeriSync will use your default warehouse settings to manage your inventory in TikTok Shop. You multiple warehouse location settings and associated inventory will be managed in ShoppeDance VeriSync.

2. Create a Seller Shipping template

When shipping via your DTC eCommerce, you need to create a seller shipping template to properly offer your customers with the right shipping options and shipping speed in TikTok Shop.

To set it up, navigate to your Orders > Shipping Templates. Or use the link below:

https://seller-us.tiktok.com/logistics/shipping-template. Click [Create] to add a new template.

Select all warehouses that you've previously set up.

Shipping Options

You can provide three different shipping options to your customers on TikTok Shop, they are:

  • Free Economy

    • After payment, orders must be delivered within 11 business days.

  • Standard Shipping (recommended)

    • After payment, orders must be delivered within 4 business days.

  • Express Shipping

    • After payment, orders must delivered within 7 business days. Shipping to all states in the continental U.S. (excluding Hawaii and Alaska) is required.

We recommend only offering Standard Shipping on TikTok Shop for the following reasons:

  • Free Economy option is not part of TikTok Shop’s current shipping subsidy program. Learn more at TikTok Shop: US Free Shipping Incentive Program

  • Express Shipping option requires orders to be delivered to customers within 4 business days. Most sellers find it challenging to meet this timeline.

Currently, TikTok Shop requires sellers to fulfill orders within a 48-hour handling time. Please ensure your fulfillment flow meets this expectation.

States that you ship to

By default, all states in the continental U.S. (excluding Hawaii and Alaska) will be selected. If you'd like to change the states or add Hawaii or Alaska, click [Edit] to modify the settings.

Flat-rate shipping fee or set price conditions

Set a flat-rate shipping fee or set pricing conditions based on product weight or quantity.

Set shipping fee discount based on order value

If you'd like to set a shipping fee discount (eg. Free shipping over $39), navigate to Marketing > Promotions > Shipping fee discount. Or use the following link: https://seller-us.tiktok.com/promotion/marketing-tools/tool-choose

3. Change Default Shipping Option to Seller Shipping

Set Seller Shipping

In order to make sure orders properly flow to your DTC eCommerce like Shopify, you need to change your default shipping options from TikTok Shipping to Seller Shipping. Go to Orders > Shipping Options (https://seller-us.tiktok.com/logistics/delivery), and select Seller Shipping.

This ensures your TikTok Shop orders flow to your DTC eCommerce store correctly with all customer information needed to fulfill the orders.

If you use TikTok Shipping

If you set the default shipping option to TikTok Shipping, then all your TikTok Shop orders are required to be fulfilled in TikTok Shop Seller Center.

You also won't be able to access the full customer information using TikTok Shipping. For example, customer information will be partially hidden with star symbol (*). Your customer information (name and address) will only be revealed in the shipping label printed from TikTok Shop Seller Center.

Once an order is created under TikTok Shipping, you cannot change it to Seller Shipping. The changes to your default shipping settings only apply to your future orders. So please make sure your settings are correct for your fulfillment setup.
