With ShoppeDance VeriSync, you can choose which warehouse inventory from your eCommerce store you’d like to use for TikTok Shop. You can also customize inventory availability to avoid overselling on TikTok Shop.
Customize inventory availability to avoid overselling
Although ShoppeDance VeriSync syncs and updates inventory in real-time, overselling may still occur if multiple customers place orders on both TikTok Shop and your DTC eCommerce website simultaneously.
We understand that overselling can cause significant issues for TikTok Shop merchants. It’s usually not intentional, and we want to help prevent it from happening.
We offer two solutions:
Set the % of eCommerce Store Inventory
Set a Low Inventory Threshold
To customize your inventory, please go to your ShoppeDance VeriSync dashboard > Settings > Inventory sync rules. Set the value for Quantity and Low inventory threshold based on your preference.
When your product inventory reaches the threshold, your product will be "out-of-stock" on TikTok Shop, and won't be discoverable or purchasable by the customers.
Manage warehouse locations for TikTok Shop
ShoppeDance VeriSync allows you to manage which warehouses from your eCommerce store that you'd like to use for TikTok Shop. It will sync the inventory value from your selected warehouse to to the default warehouse you set in TikTok Shop seller center.
To select warehouses for TikTok Shop, please go to your ShoppeDance VeriSync dashboard > Settings > Inventory sync rules > Warehouse location
By default, all your warehouses will be selected, you can use the dropdown to select or deselect warehouses.
