How to Map the Existing Products with eCommerce platform Store?

Overview

If you have products already uploaded from TikTok Shop Seller Center and want to manage all orders from TikTok Shop on your eCommerce platform store, use the "Map" feature now. This help guide has all the details you need.

How to map TikTok Shop products to eCommerce platform?

Our app will import products from your TikTok Shop. After importing successfully, you will see a separate tab called Unmapped Products from TTS. This tab shows you all the products uploaded from TikTok Shop Seller Center. When you click "Auto map", our app will automatically link the products listed on your TikTok Shop and eCommerce platform stores. We will link the TikTok Shop products which have the exact same SKU(Stock Keeping Unit)numbers and values as eCommerce platform products.

If the reason for the "Map failed" error is that the SKU in the eCommerce platform store does not match with the TikTok Shop, you can fix it by clicking on the 'Map' button for a single product. This will update the selected eCommerce platform product information to match with the corresponding TikTok Shop product. Once done, the orders and inventory will automatically sync with eCommerce platform.

If two products are mapped together, our app will regard them as the same product. This will have the following effects on your product and orders.

When you edit the price and inventory of the linked products on your eCommerce platform stores, they will be updated automatically to TikTok Shop's mapped products.

When orders generated with the mapped products on TikTok Shop, the same orders will be synced back to your eCommerce platform stores. Our app creates orders on eCommerce platform stores for those products that are mapped to the TikTok Shop's products.

What is SKU(Stock Keeping Unit)?

SKU stands for "Stock Keeping Unit." It is a unique alphanumeric code or identifier assigned to a specific product in inventory management. The SKU serves as a way to track and distinguish individual items within a larger inventory system.

The primary purpose of using SKUs is to facilitate efficient inventory management. By assigning a unique SKU to each product, businesses can track stock levels, monitor sales, reorder products, and analyze performance. SKUs help streamline the fulfillment process, optimize inventory control, and provide accurate data for reporting and analysis.

Overall, SKUs play a vital role in inventory management by providing a standardized and systematic approach to tracking and managing products throughout their lifecycle.

Every variant has a unique SKU

In order to ensure successful mapping between TikTok Shop and Shopify, it is essential to maintain the product variant numbers and SKU values identical in both systems.

If the SKU in Shopify and TikTok Shop are different, you can edit the SKU information in either Shopify or TikTok Shop to ensure consistency across both systems. Afterward, click 'Auto Map'. Once the products are mapped, future updates to Shopify products will automatically sync to TikTok Shop, TikTok orders will automatically sync to Shopify, and inventory will remain synchronized between both systems.

After auto-mapping the products, if the customer's name appears anonymized in the synchronized Shopify orders, you need to go to the TikTok Shop seller center and change the Shopping option to 'Seller Shipping'. This will enable Shopify to display the complete customer information. For historical orders, please continue the fulfillment process in the TikTok Shop seller center. New orders can be fulfilled normally on Shopify.

When you open the 'Manage Inventory' page, SKU shows on 'SKU Codition'.

In order to ensure successful mapping between TikTok Shop and Amazon, it is essential to maintain the product variant numbers and SKU values identical in both systems.

If the SKU in Amazon and TikTok Shop are different, you can edit the SKU information in either Amazon or TikTok Shop to ensure consistency across both systems. Afterward, click 'Auto Map'. Once the products are mapped, future updates to Amazon products will automatically sync to TikTok Shop, TikTok orders for Amazon FBA products will automatically sync to Amazon, and inventory will remain synchronized between both systems.

After auto-mapping the products, if the customer's name appears anonymized in the synchronized Shopify orders, you need to go to the TikTok Shop seller center and change the Shopping option to 'Seller Shipping'. This will enable Amazon to display the complete customer information. For historical orders, please continue the fulfillment process in the TikTok Shop seller center.
