Background

TikTok Shop has recently announced upcoming changes to its logistics service requirements.

From February 25, 2026 (PST) to March 31, 2026 (PST), TikTok Shop will gradually require US local sellers to fulfill orders through one of the following TikTok Shop Logistics Services:

  • Fulfilled by TikTok (FBT)

  • Upgraded TikTok Shipping

  • Collections by TikTok (CBT)

If you need to continue using 3PL fulfillment during this period, please contact your Tiktok account manager to apply for a whitelist. They will assist you with the application process.

As part of this transition, Seller Shipping will be discontinued.
This policy has already been implemented for cross-border sellers. In addition, sellers onboarding on or after February 9, 2026 (PST) are required to fulfill all orders exclusively through TikTok Shop Logistics Services.

How does this change affect you?

We understand that this policy update may raise questions about whether your current workflow will be impacted. Based on the current implementation:

  • Your existing workflow with ShoppeDance is not affected

  • Product, order, and inventory synchronization continues to function as usual

  • You can continue managing your orders and inventory through Shopify without disruption

Our product updates and system enhancements

In response to TikTok Shop’s logistics policy changes, we have proactively upgraded and optimized our product and internal workflows to ensure full compatibility with the new requirements.

Our updates include:

  • Support for identifying and handling orders fulfilled through TikTok Shop Logistics Services (such as FBT)

  • 4PL / TikTok-fulfilled orders will be synced to Shopify

We have added a new "TikTok shipping" option and a “Shipped by TikTok” tag With this update, you can clearly identify which orders are fulfilled through TikTok Shipping.

  • Seamless order and inventory management within Shopify

  • No changes required to your current setup or daily operations

Important Notes for TikTok Fulfilled Order Synchronization

For 4PL orders, TikTok Shop requires that fulfillment must be completed through TikTok Shipping.

If a 4PL order is marked as shipped directly in other e-commerce platform:

  • TikTok Shop will block the shipment update

  • The shipment information cannot be synced back to TikTok

Example:
The order below has already been marked as shipped in Shopify.

As a result, there will be an error message in ShoppeDance

TikTok Shop system error: This order is Tiktok shipping order, you can not use 'Mark package as shipped' api to shipped

Impact

  • The order shipment status cannot be synced to TikTok Shop

  • An error notification will be displayed in ShoppeDance

  • This does not indicate a system malfunction, but a TikTok Shop fulfillment restriction

Action

Go to Tiktok seller center and fulfill orders by Tiktok shipping

What should merchants do now?

At this stage, no action is required from merchants.

You can continue to:

  • Sync products, orders, and inventory as usual

  • Manage fulfillment and inventory through your existing Shopify workflow

  • Operate normally without changes to your current process

We will continue to closely monitor TikTok Shop’s policy rollout and will proactively communicate any updates or required actions through our Help Center or official announcements.

Final notes

These logistics changes are driven by TikTok Shop’s platform requirements. We have completed the necessary system adaptations in advance to ensure a smooth and stable experience for our merchants.
