Use Cases and Scenarios of product mapping
Already set up your TikTok Shop product catalogs before using ShoppeDance VeriSync? No worries! You can save all your current product listings in your TikTok Shop Seller Center, including product IDs, affiliate links, ad links, media assets, sales records, and customer reviews!
With ShoppeDance VeriSync’s product mapping feature, you can (re)connect them to your preferred eCommerce platforms like Shopify, Amazon, Wix, or Squarespace. We support the following scenarios:
Manual Uploads: You’ve manually uploaded your product catalogs to TikTok Shop and now want to connect your TikTok Shop to your eCommerce platforms.
Connector Migration: You were using a different TikTok Shop connector and decide to migrate to ShoppeDance VeriSync.
Platform Switch: You want to switch your eCommerce platforms. For example, your TikTok Shop was previously connected to Shopify, and now you’d like it to connect to Amazon.
Synced products vs. Mapped products
If you publish a product listing natively from ShoppeDance VeriSync to TikTok Shop, your product will have the status of "Synced." This means any changes you make on your Shopify or ShoppeDance VeriSync will automatically update to your TikTok Shop and stay synced in real time.
You can [edit] or [Customize] the product details, media and pricing of synced product listings in ShoppeDance VeriSync.
If you map an existing product listing from TikTok Shop Seller Center to your eCommerce via ShoppeDance VeriSync, your product will have the status of "Mapped." This means ShoppeDance will only sync the inventory value between your eCommerce and TikTok Shop.
If you want to edit the TikTok Shop product details of a mapped product, you must do it in the TikTok Shop Seller Center.
Map TikTok Shop products to your eCommerce (Shopify, Amazon, Wix & Squarespace)
1. Auto-mapping
When you complete the shop integration, an auto-map will be triggered automatically. Our system will look for the product SKU and automatically match them between your TikTok Shop and Shopify (or other platforms).
Once matched, your product will be linked between TikTok Shop and Shopify and will show as a “mapped” product for ShoppeDance VeriSync to update the product inventory.
If you are in our version 1.0 system, you will see an [Auto-map] button. You can click the button to achieve the same result.
2. Manual mapping
If our system cannot find a match between your TikTok Shop and Shopify (or other platforms), it will show all these products under [Unmapped products on TikTok Shop] tab.
You will see a list of products that are currently active on your TikTok Shop. You can click [Map] and see a pop-up window.
Search or find the SKU you'd like to link your products to.
Once mapped, your product will be linked between TikTok Shop and Shopify and will show as a “mapped” product for ShoppeDance VeriSync to update the product inventory.

Mix & match your product and SKU
You can also mix and match your SKUs between TikTok Shop and Shopify to allow communication between product listings with different variant structures.
For example, if you have a product with 10 different variants, and your Shopify listing is set up so each variant has its own product listing, but on TikTok Shop you’d like to group all 10 variants into a single product listing, you can use the mapping feature to achieve this result.

Unmap a linked product
If you'd like to unlink a synced or mapped product, you can click [unmap] to stop the communication between TikTok Shop and your Shopify store for this product.
